THE COLLEGE PROGRAM \ OVERVIEW

The College Program provides current students and recent college grads with an experience unlike anything else. Under the backdrop of the world’s most majestic environments, the College Program provides participants with a triad of opportunities allowing them to discover what it means to be part of the Vail Resorts family. Much more than an incredible work experience, participants become members of the community as they work and live amongst their peers and co-workers. Participants have the opportunity to interact with leaders from all levels both informally as well as through structured programs.

The mountain range is a great big place. And it takes a great many people in a variety of roles to make it a premier destination for guests and students alike. Based on your individual skill-set and where your talents are needed most, potential candidates opportunities can be found in: Food & Beverage, Mountain Operations, Hospitality, Guest Services ,and Administration (such as Human Resources and Accounting).

No matter what assignment you receive, the common denominator is this: we look for people who care about doing their best work every day. If you’re enthusiastic, friendly, love interacting with new and interesting people, and want to help create amazing vacation experiences for our guests, then no worries – you’ll fit right in.

After the College Program, it is our hope that you will walk away with a full perspective of our industry. From gaining work experience and networking, to working in a world-class community based company, the College Program is designed to leave a lasting impression on all of our student employees. We try to separate ourselves from the normal college program to create an unforgettable experience. While there is always time to hang out and relax, student employees will also have the opportunity to attend training seminars, interact and meet the CEO, and really have their opinions heard. You’re not going to find another experience out there like this!
