THE COLLEGE PROGRAM \ REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18 years of age or older
  
  
• Must either be currently enrolled as a student in a college or university or have recently graduated
  
  
  • Winter season: Graduation date of May 2010 through December 2010
    
    
  • Summer season: Graduation date of December 2010 throught May 2011
    
    
• Must be able to relocate to the designated resort for the duration of the Program
  
  
  • Winter Program: Program runs December 2010 – End-of-season, around April 18, 2011
    
    
  • Summer season: Program runs March 2011 - End-of-season, around October 10, 2011
    
    
• Must have an interest and passion for the mountains, national parks and resort environment
  
  
• Must possess strong customer service skills
  
  
• Successful candidates are looking for an adventure and experience unlike anything else

International Student

Vail Resorts is partnering with various J1 sponsoring agencies to offer 5 month J-1 Internship programs to International students studying Hospitality, Tourism, Hotel Management and Culinary Arts degree programs. Positions are available in the Food and Beverage and Culinary departments. In order to apply for this program you must:

• Be actively studying on a Hotel Management / Hospitality / Tourism / Culinary degree program, or have graduated from such a program within the last 12 months
  
  
• Have excellent conversational English communication skills
  
  
• Be able to qualify for a J-1 Internship visa
  
  
• Have excellent Guest Service skills and a willingness to work hard, learn from an industry leader and develop new skills
