The mountain range is a great big place. And it takes a great many people in a variety of roles to make it a premier destination for guests and interns alike. Based on your individual skill-set and where your talents are needed most, potential internship opportunities can be found in: Food & Beverage, Mountain, Hospitality, and Administration (Human Resources and Accounting). Your specific assignment will be given to you when you arrive at Keystone.

No matter what assignment you receive, the common denominator is this: we look for people who care about doing their best work every day. If you’re enthusiastic, friendly, love interacting with new and interesting people, and want to help create some awesome vacation experiences for our guests, then no worries – you’ll fit right in.

THE WORK EXPERIENCE
Creating guest experiences that go beyond description require a certain level of focus and commitment to a job well done. At Vail Resorts, we put care into everything we do – from turning down a bed, to bussing a table, to a creating a late-night snack. Each assignment encompasses way more than a specific job description, for us, it’s a way of life.

Unlike most internship programs, Vail Resort College Program is a paid experience. In addition to earning compensation and immersing yourself in a particular position, you will also have an opportunity to develop your communication and problem-solving skills.

THE LIFESTYLE EXPERIENCE
The lifestyle of a Vail Resorts intern is very unique: it’s adventurous and requires an individual with a strong sense of self – and a strong sense of fun. Here’s an insider’s look into what it’s like to live at Keystone Resort.

The best night skiing in Colorado, the Bluegrass and Beer Festival at the Park Lane Pavilion, interesting people from around the globe – just a few of the reasons why Keystone is everything a resort should be.

Need more reasons? No problem. Take a walk outside your front door and you can find mountain biking, cat skiing, and back bowls that get you deep into powder. There are plenty of other activities, too. Try tubing, ice-skating, horseback riding, golf, or rock climbing.

After work hours, our interns enjoy a laid-back atmosphere. Our Employee Center offers Internet access, discounted movie tickets, organized trips to hockey games, rafting, and much more.

As part of the Keystone community, you’ll meet people from all over the world and cultivate memories that last a lifetime. We’ve got a campus feel going here and it’s great to know you can always rely on your friends and co-workers to help you out on the job or join you for a cup of coffee by an outdoor fire pit.
