MOUNTAINS
Vail, CO: Like nothing on earth
Vail is a giant among the world’s ski resorts in size, annual skier visits and reputation for providing vacation experiences without comparison. Sprawling 5,289 acres with seven legendary Back Bowls that stretch six miles, Vail Mountain is the largest ski resort in the United States, welcoming approximately 1.6 million skiers and snowboarders annually.
Ranked the No. 1 ski resort in the U.S. by SKI Magazine 14 of the past 21 years, Vail consistently dominates annual skier polls as the industry gold standard.
Beaver Creek, CO: Not exactly roughing it.
Defined by lavish amenities, impeccable service and slopes worthy of World Cup racing, Beaver Creek Resort pampers discerning travelers seeking an alpine experience in a luxury resort setting. A year-round destination, Beaver Creek features championship golf courses, elegant lodging and restaurants, festivals of art, food and wine and world-class entertainment.
The youngest major ski area in the U.S., Beaver Creek debuted in 1980 and has grown steadily in size and esteem achieving a record-setting number of skier visits for the 2007-2008 ski season. The resort now spans 1,800 acres across three base areas, creating a European-inspired village-to-village ski experience with diverse terrain, impeccable grooming and world-class amenities and cuisine.
Breckenridge, CO: The Perfect Mountain Town
During the 2007-2008 season, Breckenridge Ski Resort captured more than 1.63 million skier visits, making it the most popular ski area in North America. Particularly favored among out-of-state and international travelers, Breckenridge was honored to be named one of the Top Five Ski Locations in the World by the BBC in October 2006 and ranked as the ninth best resort in the U.S. by SKI Magazine in 2008.
Keystone, CO: Pure. Simple. Pleasure.
Keystone Resort continues its steady rise among the ranks of North America’s top ski resorts, broadening its visitor base with terrain expansions and targeted improvements. In the 2007-2008 season, Keystone once again tallied over one millions visits, making it the third most-visited resort in the U.S., following Breckenridge and Vail.
Heavenly, CA: When you’re up for everything
Prized for its stunning panoramic views of Lake Tahoe, epic tree skiing and 24-hour nightlife, Heavenly Mountain Resort is the market-leading winter sports destination at Lake Tahoe. For the 2007-2008 season Heavenly was the seventh most visited ski resort in the U.S., number one ranked resort at Lake Tahoe and seventeenth best resort in the nation by SKI Magazine. Purchased by Vail Resorts in 2002, Heavenly now enters a new phase of revitalization beginning with construction of Olympic Express, a new high-speed quad chairlift on the resort's Nevada side.

Rock Resorts: The difference is legendary
When Laurance S. Rockefeller founded RockResorts in 1956, he aspired to create distinctive, luxury resort hotels that combined informal elegance with lavish authenticity.
Today, the second generation of RockResorts retains Rockefeller’s founding vision. From snug mountain hideaways to colorful Southwestern sanctuaries to dazzling island retreats, RockResorts offers luxurious accommodations, lavish RockResorts Spas, renowned golf courses, acclaimed dining and a variety of year-round outdoor adventures.
Grand Tetons Lodge Company, WY: Preserve. Protect. Inspire
Grand Teton Lodge Company (GTLC), a brand within Vail Resorts Hospitality, operates hotels, dining, campgrounds and activities within Grand Teton National Park as well as the Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club.
GTLC was recently awarded a renewed 15-year concessionaire agreement with the National Park Service to continue management and operation of three hotels within the Park.
GTLC also offers a host of dining options and a wide range of activities within the Park such as boat rentals, horseback riding, guided fishing, float trips, golf and guided park tours.
Colorado Mountain Express (CME)
Colorado Mountain Express (CME) joined the Vail Resorts family in June 2008. CME offers ground transportation from both Denver International Airport and Eagle County Airport to Vail (locations in and around Vail, Beaver Creek, Avon and Edwards), Aspen (locations in and around Aspen and Snowmass) and Summit County (includes Keystone, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Frisco and Silverthorne). CME offers four primary types of service, including door-to-door shuttle business, point-to-point shuttle business with centralized drop-off at transportation hubs, private chartered vans and premier luxury charter vehicles. The vehicle fleet consists of approximately 250 vans and luxury SUVs.
Golf
It doesn’t matter if you are playing Keystone Ranch, The River Course, Beaver Creek Golf Course or Red Sky Ranch, golf at 9,000 feet in the majestic Rocky Mountains is a dynamic of its own. Impressive elevation changes, variable bunkers, water hazards, and five to six sets of tees on each hole combine to challenge golfers of all levels. Our clubs are known not only for their natural beauty, but consistently excellent playing conditions and top-notch service. Add to that the magnificent views of snow-capped peaks and wildlife and it’s easy to see this is a golfing experience unlike any other.
